Affordable Amazing Eyeliner with Jordana 12 HR Made To Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil Review and Swatches!

Welcome back lovelies! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today. It's a beautiful day in NY for once and I am enjoying every bit of sunshine. I wanted to bring you a review of another product that I have been adoring lately. I hope your not sick of my reviews of products I love yet because there are plenty. Don't fret though my little pretties because I do have a couple reviews coming down the pipes of products that didn't really wow me.

However, today's post is on some products that you seriously need to add to your now...right now! Well if you are an eyeliner wearer that is! I'm talking about the Jordana 12 HR Made To Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencils and for the sake of having the longest name in the world for the time being we are going to call them the Jordana 12hr Liners Okay? K! "An eyeliner pencil that's a liquid? How can that be?" You say! Well it is true but we'll get to that in a minute. First let's see what Jordana's claims are for these.

• Intense, Instant Color Eyeliner that is Made to Last
• Smooth-Gliding Pencil For Precise Application
• Long-Lasting (Up to 12 hour wear)
• Water & Transfer Resistant
• Sharpens with Deluxe Sharpener
• Paraben-Free
• Made in USA

That's a lot of claims right there but they were pretty spot on. Now these eyeliners are not that old. I think the new products for Jordana got released last fall and I hunted then down like a hawk. I found mine at Walgreens which seems to be the only store in my area that carries them besides Kmart. They are $2.49 which is a huge steal especially for what you are getting with these. I being the makeup junkie bought all 6 shades that they offer so you get to see all of them here.

Espresso Last is a beautiful liner for my soft and natural girls. This is a warm toned matte brown eyeliner. However, I do stress that even though it is a little more natural than the rest of the bunch it is still very pigmented and applies opaque so it is still going to be kind of intense unless you smudge it out a bit or apply a little shadow on top.

The next shade is called Charcoal Definition which is a charcoal colored liner with silver microglitters. This does have a little bit of a sparkle to it so if that isn't your cup of tea then you probably won't like it. The Jordana website makes all the colors look matte but they def are not. This shade is my go to "going out" eyeliner because I love that shimmer and drama.

The next is Purple Fix which is my absolute favorite for my blue eyed ladies (like myself)! If you know me well than you know I love my purples...eyeshadows, eyeliners, even this quickly rose to the top for me. It is a nice deep purple with pink microglitters. It has the most gorgeous sheen and looks amazing paired with a nice purple shadow.

The shade here is Black Point which is an insanely pigmented matte black eyeliner. This bad boy is the big kahuna of my black eyeliners. If you want the look of a liquid liner without as much hassle this is the liner for you. I applied it next to a bunch of my high end liners and I think it is of equal quality. It is even better than my Urban Decay Perversion Eyeliner which everyone goes gaga for but about $18 cheaper!

The next shade is called Jade Jewel which is the green of the bunch. It a beautiful deep dark green shade with a little bit of a sheen. Perfect for lots of different eye colors and a gorgeous shade to wear in the fall.

Lastly we have Aqua Stone which is kind of a stand out in this collection. Unlike all the other shades that are nice and deep this is a fun bright color. It is a bright blue eyeliner with a sheen and it awesome for a little pop of color on the lower lash line. It reminds me a lot of the bright blue in the new L'oreal Silkissime Eyeliner line but it still saves you a couple bucks.

So here's where we get to the Liquid Eyeliner Pencil part. As you can see from the swatches these are very pigmented and apply nice and opaque. The reason they called them as such is because though they are a pencil format and apply like a pencil; they are soft and glide on like liquid. I would more say actually that they apply like a gel liner. They are easy to work with and don't tug at the lashes like some pencils do. I have had mine though a few I've replaced for over a year now and they still haven't dried out. They are pretty soft though so don't sharpen them too much.

I am kind of a snob when it comes to eyeliners. I get all huffy when I have to sharpen them even though it only takes a second. I feel like everything should just be mechanical by now. So I do wish they didn't have to be sharpened but for the price and quality I suck it up and do it. You get a good amount of product here as well. It is your standard eyeliner pencil size and I love how sleep they look.

Wear Time:

I will say that they are pretty good on their 12 hour wear time claim. I have put these to the test on my double shift days and they do really stay put. I haven't really tested out their waterproofness (is that a word?) but I do know you need a makeup remover to take these off which is typically a good sign. One thing to watch out for though is transferring. These do take about 30 seconds to set and dry. One they dry they are really on there but if you don't give them that time before moving your eyes all about they will transfer to the upper lid. So just be nice and patient and left them set and you will be pleasantly rewarded. I have also found this is hands down one of the best eyeliners for my waterline and tightline as well. I have been using it under my mascara on my top lashline for weeks now and it stays put all day long. It is crazy!

Final Verdict:

A win!!! A win all the way around for me. Pigmented, Long Wearing, Inexpensive, and Easy To Use....All the makings for a stamp of approval from me.
