Limited Edition L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Diamonds Review and Swatches!

If you have been following my blog for any amount of time than you are aware that I am drawn to sparkles! I love anything that is shimmery, shiny, sparkley, or glittery. So naturally when I saw that L'oreal had released a limited edition glitter mascara I HAD TO HAVE IT!!! Well I finally tracked it down at my local Riteaid. It was released with the Diamond collection that I mentioned in this post. It says on the package that is it in celebration of the L'oreal 40th anniversary. The package also says "No clump diamond formula: The luxurious diamond sparkle formula instantly amplifies each lash. Glides on smoothly and lasts all day while thickening and separating each lash for a clump-free, flake-free, and smudge-free look. A uniquely designed brush to amplify and separate lashes from corner to corner while building breathtaking volume".
Now I have never used the regular L'oreal Voluminous Mascara but I have heard great things about it. So this was my first experience. As you can see the brush is a plastic spiky type brush. There are a lot of the little bristles which I think is why is coats and separates every lash so nicely. I smudged the swatch out so you could see the sparkles. If you like really dark black mascaras than this is not for you. It is more of a charcoal or soft black with sparkle. I really like the how this brush applies the mascara. I felt like it got every eye lash and separated them fantastically. Not the formula isn't super thick either so if you are looking for the "false lash" look I don't think you will find it hear. If you want "Your real lashes only better" than I really like this. I didn't notice the sparkle so much on myself but one of my girlfriends did so you must be able to catch the glitter. I will continue to test this product out but so far so good!!
